Health Camp

A health camp for children was held at a Dharavi-based NGO – SHED (situated in Mumbai, Dharavi is the largest slum in Asia) on the 10th of May, 2008.

NGO Theme Tour

Our next NGO Theme Tour is going to be organised for Societe Generale.

Dr. Mabelle Arole Function, 2008

This year’s Mabelle Arole Function is scheduled for 11th October and the Key Note Address is going to be delivered by Dr. Prakash Amte (the Ramon Magsaysay Awardee for 2008) .

NGO Theme Tour

Students of the Ben Gurion University of Israel seen getting a first-hand experience at a NGO on location.

In April, 2008 second NGO Theme Tour for the Ben Gurion University, Israel was conducted. It covered the Foundation for Research in Community Health (Parinche), Comprehensive Rural Health Project (Jamkhed), Snehalaya (Ahmednagar).  

World Volunteer Day

SOSVA observed 5th December, 2007 as World Volunteer Day .
